This job is hard to explain. We will try to select one or two candidates that come very close to our requirements. It requires a little bit of every thing. To start, it is as follows:
1. Perform some medical documents editing, mostly grammar -- a little early in the morning.
2. Doing some marketing based on your own contacts or our leads.
3. Ability to write proposals.
4. Good knowledge of computers and MS Office package.
5. Ability to learn computer softwares, mostly billing as well as Electronic Health Records
6. A willingness to work hard so that you and the company grows together.
7. A little knowledge of hardware, a plus. (We understand not every one will have this ability)
8. You must have a car.
This is not a hourly job. It is a salaried job that pays, what we consider as ok. You will work independently, unsupervised from your home. If you don`t have some fire burning in your belle, this may not be the right job for you.
We are a nine year old company and we are growing and diversifying - from medical billing, transcriptions to EMRs, back-office services and full practice management. Despite the general recession and a slump, healthcare field is still brisk. This position offers a very good growth opportunity for the right candidate while providing him/her a knowledge base that will enable them to run a medical practice.
